FREE is an art exhibition of new work by Maya Freelon Asante. Using a process called "Tissue Ink Monoprint," she transforms scraps of tissue paper into objects of permanence and reflection. Visit Freelon Asante's Web site for additional information about her work and past exhibitions.
The exhibition is supported by the generous contributions of The Friends of the Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and History, The Friends of the Robert and Sallie Brown Gallery and Museum and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
