Celebrating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through music and poetry

The Stone Center’s annual MLK holiday program examines King’s legacy through music, poetry, and spoken word. Community members, faculty, staff and students will come together to celebrate Dr. King’s life and work. The program will feature Bradley Simmons of the Duke Djembe Ensemble, local jazz quartet, R-EFFEcT, led by saxophonist Ron Baxter and poet Jaki Shelton Green.

A reception will follow the free program. Co-sponsored by Friends of the Library.
