Stone Center to Launch The Big Read
The Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and
History is one of 127 national recipients of The Big Read grant, an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). As a part of The Big Read initiative, the Stone Center will host a month long series of events to connect readers to Their Eyes Were Watching God, by Zora Neale Hurston.
Please join the Stone Center to celebrate the novel through dialogue, poetry, music, dance, and film March 31 - April 30.
